Men Edmonton has been invited to bring the This Is What It Feels Like exhibit to Fort Saskatchewan’s Take Back the Night rally and march. Hope to see you there!
“Take Back the Night, an annual event organized by the Fort Saskatchewan Take Back the Night Steering Committee, is a powerful opportunity for survivors and their supporters to actively build connections, assertively reclaim our right to safety, and courageously stand up against violence.
Every year, we march to raise awareness and to give a voice for everyone who is oppressed by violence and discrimination. We march for victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, and violence in all forms. We march for our Stolen Sisters so that there will be no more Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. We march for our LGBTQ2S+ family so that they can be free to love without prejudice. We march to fight racism so that all people can live free from hate and discrimination.
We march to Take Back the Night.
Join us on Thursday , September 19, 2019 at 6:00 PM, at City Hall - 10005 100 Ave, Fort Saskatchewan.
We will march, rain or shine.”
